Market Intimacy is a project exploring the intimacy of merchants, captured in their workplace.
The images were taken in February 2016, in one of the Merida's markets, in Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula.

Markets are public places. But unlike the bustle of the street, people here do not go anywhere. The market is their destination. For merchants, this is their daily life. They do business, have fun between sales... and also rest, watch people go by. Lost in their thoughts, they release their personality in their moments of boredom.This emptiness tends to reveal the most about us. By immersing myself into the merchants' universe, I had the impression of grasping their deep nature.
